Your connection details display by default, when you connect to an Anaplan model to an Excel worksheet.
You can hide these details through the Settings dialog.
You can hide the connection details in the Excel Add-in when you make a connection to an Anaplan model.
The connection details are located above the data you've imported into your Excel worksheet. They show:
- when the connection was last refreshed,
- the model name,
- the module name,
- any page filters that are currently applied to the data,
- the view name.
To hide the connection details on a worksheet:
- In Excel, click the Anaplan tab.
- Click Settings.
The Anaplan Excel Add-in Settings dialog displays.

- Deselect the Show connection details checkbox.
- Click OK.
The connection details no longer display.
To show the connection details again:
- Repeat Steps 1 - 2 above.
- Select Show connection details.
- Click OK.
The connection details display.
