1. PlanIQ
  2. Prepare your data

Before you use PlanIQ, we recommend you follow the guidelines in this section first. This helps you get your source data ready to use when you create your forecast. You can also create a module to import your forecast results into, once the predictions are generated.

Your feedback is important to us. To ensure you have a good content experience, we'd appreciate if you could tell us how you find the guidance on this page and if it addresses your questions.

To take part, complete the quick survey at the end of the article, and tell us how we can improve.

The first stage to create your forecast is to set up your data collection. Before you begin this stage, create modules and time dimensions in Anaplan that you can import into your setup.

Create modules for each of these data types:

  • Historical data
  • Related data (optional)
  • Exclude 0 values (advanced)
  • Attributes (optional)
  • Forecast results
