You can resize and move cards on a report slide to give your insights context. You can also enable snap to grid and align cards for a consistent presentation.

You must open your page in designer mode. Select Edit this page

You can save your work at any time. Select Save to save as a draft. When you're ready to publish, select Publish.

For creative layouts, you can overlay cards, and set card backgrounds to transparent.

Move cards

To move a card:

  1. Select and hold while you drag the card to its new position.
  2. Release the mouse button or lift your touch.

To move selected cards with keyboard controls:

  • Use cursor keys to move the card.
  • Use Shift with cursor keys to move the cards a pixel.

Alternatively, you can copy and paste cards between report page slides. 

Resize cards

To resize a card, select your card and drag to your desired size. For shape cards, you can also enter a Height and Width on the Card configuration panel. Learn more

Rotate cards

You can only rotate shape cards. To rotate a shape card, select your shape and drag the anchor. 

When you rotate a shape, the card title also rotates. If you save your shape to the card template library, the rotation is not applied to the template. 

Lock cards

To disable or enable move and resize for a selection of cards, select your cards, right-click and select Lock or Unlock.

Snap to grid

To enable snap to grid, on the toolbar select more menu > Snap to grid. To show the grid, select more menu > Show grid

When you move and resize cards, the edges of the card snap to the grid, until you disable Snap to grid

Align cards

To align cards, select your cards, right-click and select: 

  • Align top.
  • Align bottom.
  • Align left.
  • Align right.

When you align cards, all selected cards align to the card under your cursor and to the chosen edge. For example, if you select Align left, all left edges of the selected cards move to align with the left edge of your chosen card.
