You can search within modules, lists, and page selectors.

Search for line items in modules

  1. Select any cell in a module grid.
  2. Click the Search icon or press Ctrl + Shift + S (or ⌘ + ctrl + S on a Mac) to display the Search dropdown.
  3. Enter the characters to search for:
  4. Note: The line items returned are grouped by dimension. The dimensions to which the line items belong are displayed on the left-hand side of the search results.
  5. Select a line item from the search results (you can use your mouse or keyboard).
  6. The line item is selected in the module grid.
Note: You can also access Search from the right-click Context menu.

Search in lists

You can search for list items in both Tree View and Grid View. In Grid View, you can also search for list items by their code, and search the list's properties.

  1. In Model Settings > General Lists, select the list you want to search in.
  2. Select either Tree View or Grid View depending on what you want to search for.
  3. Click the Search icon to display the Search dropdown.
  4. Enter the characters to search for:
  5. In the search results, select the list item or property you want (you can use your mouse or keyboard).
  6. The list item or property is selected.

Search in page selectors

Quickly locate the page you're interested in within a large hierarchy or data set by searching for a page in a page selector.

You can search any page type—including lists, line items, time, versions, and subsets—from within modules, dashboard grids, charts, and independent page selectors published to dashboards.

Results are shown as a flat list and include the items in the dimension the page selector is based on:
