You can publish a grid, chart or form to a new or existing dashboard.

Publish a grid

Publish to an existing dashboard

  1. Open the module that contains the grid you want to publish and select a grid.
  2. From the View menu, select Publish to Dashboard and then select a target dashboard. The dashboard will open in the Dashboard Designer with the focus on the published grid.
  3. Format the grid, if required, then click the Save or Save & Exit button on the dashboard toolbar.

Publish to a new dashboard

  1. Open the module that contains the grid you want to publish and select a grid.
  2. From the View menu, select Publish to Dashboard and New Dashboard.
  3. Name your dashboard and assign it to a Functional Area, if required.
  4. Click Save. The new dashboard will open in the Dashboard Designer with the focus on the published grid.
  5. Format the grid, if required, then click the Save or Save & Exit button on the dashboard toolbar.

Publish a chart

Publish to an existing dashboard

  1. Generate a new chart or open the chart you want to publish
  2. From the Chart Options dialog, select Publish to Dashboard and then select a target dashboard. The dashboard will open in the Dashboard Designer with the focus on the published chart.
  3. Click the Save or Save & Exit button on the dashboard toolbar.

Publish to a new dashboard

  1. Generate a new chart or open the chart you want to publish.
  2. From the Chart Options dialog, select Publish to Dashboard and then New Dashboard.
  3. Name your dashboard and assign it to a Functional Area, if required.
  4. Click Save. The new dashboard will open in the Dashboard Designer, with the focus on the published chart.
  5. Click the Save or Save & Exit button on the dashboard toolbar.

Publish Page Selectors to a Dashboard

  1. From the View menu, select Publish Page Selectors to Dashboard. The dashboard will open in the Dashboard Designer with the focus on the published page selector.
  2. Drag the page selector to the top of the dashboard.
  3. To ensure that pages synchronize throughout the model, make appropriate choices in Selection Options in the Properties panel of the Dashboard Designer.
  4. Click the Save or Save & Exit button on the dashboard toolbar.
