Use a grid card to display data from a module in a grid.

This is useful for highlighting any important numerical data which you want end users to consume.

To add a grid card:

  1. Open the board in designer mode.
  2. In the Add card section of the side panel, double-click the Grid tile , or drag it onto the board.
  3. Click Configure grid on the grid card.
    The Card configuration panel displays.
  4. In the Overview tab, click on View designer.
  5. Select a Module view or design a Custom view to use as the data source for your grid, then press Update.
    The grid displays on the board.
  6. Optionally, on the Overview tab:
    • Enter a title in the Title field.
      The title displays in the top-left of the grid card.
    • Enter a description of the card in the Description field.
      The text you enter displays when you hover your cursor pointer over the information icon on the published card.
    • Link the grid card's title  to a page from the Link to a page dropdown menu.
      When the page is published, the title is hyperlinked to the page you select.
  7. Optionally, on the Grid tab:
    • Toggle Allow editing right to enable users to edit data.
    • If the data source for the grid card is a view, toggle Users can pivot data right to enable users to pivot the grid card.
      If you create a new grid card, users can pivot it by default.
    • Select a value from the Row height dropdown to change the height of rows in the grid card.
      Standard, the default height, is one line high. Medium is two lines high, Large is four lines, and Extra large is eight lines.
    • Select one or more line items under Line item image settings to display their values as images on the grid card.
      You can display .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, or .png files as images on a grid card. Learn how to store image URLs.
  8. Optionally, on the Context tab, Configure context selectors.
  9. Click Publish to save the grid card to the board.
