You use the Sort Ascending and Sort Descending options in the Data menu to instantly sort the data in the grid.

Notes: You can apply a single sort to both columns and rows.

When using nested dimensions, you can only apply a sort to rows if columns are not nested. Similarly, when using nested dimensions, you can only apply a sort to columns if rows are not nested.

Description

Sort Ascending

Sorts the data in the grid in ascending order, based on the data in the column or row that was selected first. This removes an existing sort if there is one.

Sort Descending

Sorts the data in the grid in descending order, based on the data in the column or row that was selected first. This removes an existing sort if there is one.
