You can use the metadata to determine the data format when there are multiple dimensions on rows or columns.  While the Anaplan display can clearly show when there are multiple dimensions on rows or columns, the cell data export doesn't provide data for multiple dimensions on columns.

In the view below, the Product dimension is pivoted to the rows alongside the line items.

The order of the Rows dimensions in the metadata matches the order of the columns in the CSV file that give the items of each of the row dimensions.
