Execute a configured file import from a Workflow task.

To execute the File Import: 

  1. Navigate to the Workflow Task List once the workflow task is in progress.
  2. Click anywhere on the File Import task.
    The task pane opens.
  3. Select Upload and then select a file to import when prompted.
  4. Once the data has been loaded to the staging table, a message displays confirming the number of rows loaded into the table.
  5. If the Transform and Load to Data Model option is selected for this task, the data is then ‌loaded from the Staging Table to the Data Model. Mappings are applied as needed.

  6. Mapping is applicable if the Transform and Load to Data Model option was selected for the task. 
  7. If there are errors, a message with errors lists the error found. 
    • If a member isn't valid in the column, it is listed as an error.
    • If the same value is found multiple times, it is only reported once.
  8. Select Skip Validation to process only the valid data.
    Only valid rows in the file are imported.
