November 2025 releases

Learn about new Anaplan features and enhancements introduced in November 2025.

Continued enhancements include:

• Weekly data no longer has to start on Mondays.
• List subsets for the item ID list and custom time are now supported.
• List format line items in attributes data are now supported.
• Data residency in a new AWS region (AE1) is now supported.
• Forecast Actions can be triggered on UX pages with a user-configurable button.

You can now write forecast results to a different Anaplan model or workspace than the one configured in the forecast model. This enables you to test forecasts in non-production environments before deploying to production, without having to rebuild your configurations.

On-Demand Calculation allows Polaris to defer some calculations until data is viewed, to improve model performance and responsiveness. We have been rolling out this feature gradually over several months, and it is now enabled for all customers.

We've improved:

• Messages in the Excel status bar. The workbook status bar now displays information about each query. You can see the refresh time, query duration, and connection details when you select a query cell. This feature is only available for grids, freeforms, and table query objects. 

• Activate Workbook button visibility. The Activate Workbook button now only appears when an Anaplan XL workbook is disabled.

• The Extras menu to include links to the Anaplan Community and video tutorial pages. 

• The context menu to include an option to add a workbook slicer. This option automatically links the grid to the new workbook slicer. 

• Performance when searching for measures with the Atoti connector. 

We've updated Freeform reports to:

• Improve writeback performance. 
• Add an option to repeat the member labels when drilling on a nested dimension. 

• Repeat member labels option unselected (default)
