User Experience

Enhanced selections: Control which rows and columns are presented in the UX with new enhanced show/hide functionality. This enables page builders to show or hide specific rows or columns in the view-designer with a simple right-click. A new context menu is displayed that allows you to show different groupings of items within nested dimensions, such as different line items under cost centres or different products within regions, as well as the choice to show/ hide data in non-nested grids. We’ve also added the ability to re-order items based on the sequence they were selected in. The enhanced show/hide functionality is supported on boards, worksheets and reports.

Comment Summary View: Keep up with the conversation at a glance. Discover all comments on a page and context selection with our new summary view. Easily drill down to an individual comment thread, or keep an eye on the bigger picture and watch conversations update in real time.

Modeling Experience

  • Quickly enter formula edit mode: Double click or simply start typing in the new formula editor to switch from preview mode to edit mode to streamline the formula building experience.
  • Pages experience: Model builders can see a list of Pages built on top of the current model they are working on within the modeling experience, and quickly navigate to them in the UX.

  • Formula indentation: Apply indentation formatting when opening formulas in the formula editor.

Extensibility

Anaplan Connect 3.0: With Anaplan Connect, users can automate Anaplan actions and processes through a free and downloadable Java utility. The Anaplan Connect refresh comes support for some of Anaplan’s read and write-back Transactional APIs allowing for more intuitive and responsive data integrations within Anaplan models.
