Add a column to your Anaplan XL report for different members without duplicating the column definition.
If your Anaplan XL report requires a column to be repeated for different members, you can achieve this without duplicating the column definition.
To achieve this:
- Insert a hierarchy into the Columns area on the Design tab before the necessary hierarchies, usually before Scenario.
- Define the column.
- Select the member for the column's context in the Value option on each column definition.
If you select one member, this would be the same as adding that member to the custom slice of the expression. Alternatively, you can select a range of members to get multiple columns created in the final report.
Note: Repeated columns always display next to each other and can't be separated by other columns.
In the template table you can create a range contents. For example, Products with the All Products, Bikes, and Components members.
