Use the Settings form to view and manage system-level configurations for Anaplan's Financial Consolidation and Reporting application.

While you can configure many settings, some fields are for information only, such as application version. You can contact Anaplan Support to modify specific settings, such as adding the Transaction Matching module to your platform.

  1. Select the Maintain module.
  2. Select Settings from the Administration card.

The settings include:

SettingDescription
Account Netting

Set to Net Details or Reverse Details to determine how accounts are netted.

  • Net Details: Only the losing side (the set with the smaller balance) is fully eliminated and reclassified into the target account. The winning side (the set with the larger balance) retains its original account.
  • Reverse Details: Both source sets are completely zeroed out, and the net consolidated balance is reclassified into the selected target account.

Both the Net Details and Reverse Details options support multiple-source accounts and parent accounts for netting. If you leave this setting blank, the system uses the legacy netting calculation with a single-source account.

AccountRecModule

Shows if Account Reconciliation is part of the platform.

This is a non-editable information field.

AccountRecModuleRelease

MatrixConsolidationPartnerSegment

If you leave MatrixConsolidationPartnerSegment blank, the system determines the partner segment. It derives the entity from the intercompany relationship. It then uses the default segment attribute assigned to that Entity dimension member as the partner segment.
