Once you create and post a recurring journal entry, you must run the Journal Copy Process. This can be done using the Run Calculations form or the Global Workflow process.
Run Calculations
To access the Run Calculations form:
- Select the Explorer module.
- Expand the Global > Consolidation > Maintenance.
- Right-click the Run Calculations form and select Open.
Alternatively, double-click the form to open it. - Select the Copy Journals task.
Note: Your administrator may have moved the form to another place, or it may be started as part of a process.
These parameters apply to the Copy Journals process:

| Scenario | Yes | It's the target scenario to copy the journal to. |
| Period | Yes | It's the target period to copy the journal to. |
| Entity | Yes | These are the entities that you want to copy journals for. |
| Source Scenario | No | The source scenario to copy the journals from. If no source scenario is selected, the source scenario is the same as the target scenario. |
| Force Copy | Yes | If the journal entry already exists in the target period but isn't posted, this must be set to TRUE to recopy the journal entry to the target period. If the journal entry has already been copied to the target period and is in posted status, you must unpost the journal entry before running the journal entry copy with Force = TRUE. |
| Periodicity | No | It defines if the journal entry will be copied:

Run Copy Recurring JE (Global Workflow Process)
To access the Run Copy Recurring JE (Global Workflow Process):
- Select the Explorer module.
- Expand the Global > Consolidation > Processes > Calculations.
- Double-click Run Copy Recurring JE to open the workflow.
- Select Play.
- Select the required parameters and select Run.
The parameters below are available:- Scenario
- Period
- Entity
- Force Copy
Note: The source scenario and periodicity parameters aren't currently available via the global workflow. These parameters are optional. If you want to use them, you need to copy the workflow process and add them:
