Send advanced explainability results to an Anaplan module so you can report on driver contributions and use them in your planning process. You can send results on demand, or automatically each time the forecast action runs. 

Advanced explainability data is time-phased. Forecaster writes one contribution per driver, item, and period. The target module must include a time dimension, dimensioned as:

Item ID x Features x Forecast version x Time

Contribution values are forecast units, not percentages. Format the contribution line item as a number without a percentage unit. Positive contributions increase the prediction while negative contributions decrease it. For each item and period, the contributions add up to the predicted value. 


To send advanced explainability data to Anaplan:

  1. On the Advanced Explainability panel, select Send to Anaplan.
  2. On the Advanced explainability data dialog, map:
    1. The target Anaplan Workspace, Model, and Module.
    2. The Item ID list to identify the items being forecast.
    3. The Features list that contains the driver names.
    4. The Forecast (forecast version) list to identify the forecast version.
    5. The specific Forecast list item version to write.
    6. The Time dimension the results are written against.
  3. You can select Send with every run to send results automatically each time the forecast action runs. 
  4. Select Send now to send immediately, or Save to store the mapping.
