You can add columns and rows in a Freeform report.
Expand and collapse
You can expand a hierarchy used in rows or columns by double-clicking a member. Double-clicking again will collapse them.
Expanding and collapsing a member requires member names to be typed in as text. If a member's name is considered a number by Excel, for example, 2023, you should add a quote as a suffix to turn it into text, for example, '2023, so it can be expanded/collapsed.
Unlike grids, Anaplan XL inserts and deletes cells as required, which might offset other cells below or on the right of the Freeform report.
Add columns or rows
Extra columns and rows can be added right after existing ones. Make sure you leave no gaps between existing and new members.
Once additional members have been added, select an existing cell — rather than a newly inserted one — to trigger the refresh.
