If you are located in China, you may have issues accessing Anaplan. This may be due to the Great Firewall of China inadvertently blocking access.

This article is for administrators. If you are not an administrator and you have difficulties connecting to Anaplan, contact your administrator.

The "Great Firewall" is a colloquial term for the legislative actions and enforcement technologies that China uses to regulate the country's internet.

If you're having trouble accessing Anaplan from China, we suggest the following:

  • Connect with a virtual private network (VPN), to a location near China, such as Hong Kong.
  • Try disabling Proxy, or Zscaler as appropriate.

Keep in mind that China often changes the VPNs it blocks. You may need to try several different VPNs to find one that gives you access to Anaplan.
