Use the Translation Dictionary form to manage all the text translations for the application.
The Translation Dictionary is a central library where you define translations for any text, such as an element, label, menu item, or sentence.
You can have more than one dictionary. The columns include:
- Dictionary name: The overall library or collection of terms and their translations for the application.
- Target language: The specific language into which a term is translated, such as
frfor French ordefor German. - Term: The original word or phrase in the base language that needs to be translated into other languages.
- Translation: The equivalent of the original term, but in the target language.
Access the form
To access the form:
- Select the Maintain module.
- Select Translation Dictionary from the Administration card.
The main toolbar menu is located in the upper right. The icons include:

Select the ellipses on a variable to copy, duplicate, and delete the translation.
You can sort and filter the columns.
