Learn about new Anaplan features and enhancements introduced in July 2025.
User Experience
External URL navigation button
You can now configure navigation action buttons to link to external URLs, which will open in a new tab. This will enable you to:
- Link users to pages in other apps to drive a more connected experience across functions.
- Give users shortcuts to other platform pages.
- Link to external documentation, training content, or job aids.

Image and Field card settings
Page builders can now hide the Maximize and Comments options from the card toolbar on Image and Field cards. They can do this by switching them off from Card settings option in the Overview tab.

Freeze rows or columns persistence in grids
Freezing rows or columns in grids now persists through context changes, sorting, and filtering, improving the experience and saving time for users.
Workflow
Improved experience for users with multiple tenants
We've changed the way we determine which Workflow functionality should be shown based on the tenant you've selected. If you have access to multiple tenants, you'll now only see the features that your selected tenant is licensed to access. This makes it clearer what features can be used across the different tenants you have access to.
Newly designed right-hand panel for workflow builders
We've updated the design of the palette of steps and tasks you can add to your workflow templates, aligning it with the design of UX pages and Management Reports.
Modeling
Polaris Calculation Engine
We've added four new functions to Polaris. These functions have been released for a limited customer set in this update.
- IRR & NPV: Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and Net Present Value (NPV) functions are now available in Polaris. As part of the reimplementation of these functions in Polaris, we have improved the accuracy of the IRR calculations, including over calendars with any periodicity, for example calendars with 13 4-week periods. Learn more about these functions in IRR and NPV.
- ITEMLEVEL & HIERARCHYLEVEL: These two new functions, which are only available in Polaris, enable you to determine the level of an item or a member of a hierarchy, in either direction from root to leaf or from leaf to root. While this was previously possible to achieve with a technique using ratio summaries, this native implementation is simpler and performs better. Learn more about these functions in ITEMLEVEL and HIERARCHYLEVEL.
Security and tenant administration
IP allowlist enhancements
The IP allowlist limit has been increased from 200 to 350. Tenant security administrators can now edit or delete an existing IP policy. The IP allowlist page in administration now supports sorting and pagination for a better user experience.

Anaplan Data Orchestrator
Data can now be pulled from Google Cloud Storage (GCS) into Anaplan Data Orchestrator. The GCS connector supports authentication using a public/private key pair.

Anaplan CoPlanner
Link to Related Pages
We've introduced a feature to Anaplan CoPlanner that improves navigation across your application.
Anaplan CoPlanner can now display up to three direct links to relevant pages in response to a user's question. These links are contextual, and personalized based on access permissions. They're designed to help users explore insights, locate where key actions can be taken, and access related content more easily.
