Configuring the workbook slicer layout gives you full control over how slicers are organized and displayed across your workbook.

To configure the workbook slicer layout:

  1. Right-click inside the slicer pane and enable Toggle Design Options
  2. Select the Edit layout button. 

You can then configure: 

  • Which sheets display each slicer 
  • The order of slicers within the pane 
  • The spacing between slicers 
  • Background color of the pane 

Once you have finished designing the slicer pane, you can toggle off the design options to hide the Add slicer and Edit layout buttons.
