If you change the data in your models after you create a dataset you can sync the data to update your dataset. 

The model must have the same structure as the original model import. The sync fails if you change the model structure.

Here's a list of model changes that'll disrupt the sync process:

  • Line item data: For example, name changes, or add or delete line items.
  • Hierarchy: For example, add or delete levels in a hierarchy, or rename the hierarchy.
  • Dimensions: For example, the number of dimensions, or the order of the dimensions.
  • Lists: For example, rename the list.

To sync data from a model:

  1. Select Data Orchestrator from the top-left navigation menu.
  2. Select Source data from the left-side panel.
  3. Select the ellipsis to the right of the dataset and select Sync data.
