Workbook options are the Anaplan XL installation level defaults which are applied to any new workbooks opened during the Excel session.

Configure the format file path, hide the format sheet, set the web server for comments, and select what happens when multiple members are selected in filters. 

The default general options for new workbooks include:

Choose how to replace null values, validate members, remove drill indicators, and support an alternate approach for the TM1 DBRW formula. 

The default formula options for new workbooks include:

Validate membersWhen parsing a member, the formula will check that a valid member has been selected.
Validate members hierarchiesWhen parsing a hierarchy, the formula will check that a valid hierarchy has been selected. 
Remove drill indicatorsDon't display a sign showing that row/column can be drilled.
Support alternate approach for TM1 DBRW formulaeAlternate approach when using TM1 write formulas. Only enable this if Anaplan Support has suggested this. 

Select to remove null or 0 values when drilling, resize the columns after drilling, indent drilled members, and lighten background color on drill. 

The default formula drilling options for new workbooks include:

Remove nulls when drillingIf there are any null rows/columns when drilling down on a member, they'll be removed so that there are no fully empty rows/columns in the report.
Remove 0 values when drillingIf there are any rows/columns when drilling down on a member that only contain zeros, they'll be removed so that there are no zero rows/columns in the report.
Resize Columns after drillingThis allows a column to resize itself when drilled.
Indent drilled membersWhen the user drills down on a member, they'll be displayed indented.
Lighten background color on drillWhen the user drills on a member, a slightly lighter version of its background color will be used for the new members.
