Learn how to install the Anaplan XL Reporting Add-in.
First review the prerequisites. Then, download and run the Anaplan XL Report installer. Contact your Anaplan Customer Success Business Partner to get the installer.
Set up Anaplan XL Reporting
- Close Excel.
- Go to your Windows Start button. Enable or Disable Anaplan XL should appear.
- If the entry isn't appearing, select Start > All Programs > Anaplan XL > Enable or Disable Anaplan XL.
- Select the version of Excel in which the Anaplan XL ribbon is to be enabled.
- Start Excel and the Anaplan XL ribbon should appear. If the ribbon doesn't appear, check Disabled Items within Excel.
- Select File > Options > Add-Ins.
- Select Disabled Items from the Manage dropdown and Go. If there are any Disabled Items, they'll appear in the window.
- Select and enable the items as required.
- Close the Disabled Items window before restarting Excel.

Upgrade Anaplan XL Excel edition
The installation program will automatically detect and upgrade the current installation.
