Review different Measure dimension properties that play an important role in Anaplan Financial Consolidation.
Time Balancing (Time Balance) property
This property is used to rollup quarterly and yearly totals.
To use this property:
- Set this property for required Measures (SUM, LAST) and Accounts (SUM, FIRST, LAST)
- Select the Process button in Metadata Manager for the changes to take effect.
If you don't select the Process, the Time Balancing properties will not function as expected.
For example:
- The Amount Measures (which stores YTD amounts) should be set to LAST.
- The Periodic_Amount Measures should be set to SUM.
Data Type property
This property should be set as per the table below. Float values should be entered as lowercase.
