When you run a forecast action, the forecast model runs with fresh data. The results then transmit to the Anaplan module.
Data export stage
When the forecast action runs, an export is made from the source model. Wait until the export completes to make any other changes to the source modules.
This is automatic. A message displays to tell you the export is complete. Consider this before you make any changes to the source module.
Forecast generation stage
Forecaster processes the exported data, and generates predictions.
Results transfer stage
Next, the forecast results are pulled into the forecast results module.
Make no changes to the results module before the run completes.
