Create a connection to the Anaplan Planning Data Source before working with any Forecast Creation and Reporting (FCR) workflow tasks for Anaplan integration.

To create a connection to the Data Source:

  1. Navigate to the Configure module in the left navigation pane.
  2. Select the Add icon to add a new Data Source in the Connection Strings page.

The format of the Connection String is a json object specifying:

  • BaseUrl: Specify the URL for the region.
  • TenantID: Enter the tenant ID to connect to.
  • User: Enter the UserID.
  • Password: Enter a valid password for the UserID.
  • AuthUrl: It's the authentication URL and an optional value. It defaults to https://auth.anaplan.com/token/authenticate if not provided.
    The AuthUrl should be set as one of the Basic Auth URLs + / token / authenticate.

For example: If you want to use https://ca1a.auth.anaplan.com, the AuthUrl should be https://ca1a.auth.anaplan.com/token/authenticate.
