If you delete rows in a source dataset, you can restore the deleted rows from the row-level history. The deleted rows are loaded into a new dataset, and not into the original source dataset.
The row-level history displays a log of when you deleted rows from the source dataset. If you delete multiple rows at the same time, the history displays the deleted rows as a group entry. You can't choose from the history individual rows you want to restore. You can only restore the entire deleted row group entry.
To restore deleted rows:
- Select Data Orchestrator from the top-left navigation menu.
- Choose a dataspace from the list.
- Select Source data from the left-side panel.
- Find the source dataset from which you deleted rows from and want to restore.
- Select the Options icon to the right of the dataset, and then select Row Level History.
- Select the ellipsis icon to the right of the deleted row entry that you want to restore, and then select Restore.
- Enter a Name for the restored data, and then select Apply.
The restored row data displays as a new source dataset in the Source data inventory screen.
