Add role-based SQL Security

Role-based security is the recommended security mode. By default, Everyone is granted access to the default role. 

1. Add a login for the Anaplan XL application pool user using SQL Server Management Studio. If the default Anaplan XL application pool is used with the Application Pool Identity,  use IIS AppPool\Anaplan XL as the Windows Authentication login name. 2. On the User Mappings screen, map that user to the XLCUBED_USER role.
3. For users that administer the repository, map them to the XLCUBED_ADMIN role.

No other setup is required. You can edit and add additional roles in the Admin Application.
