Anaplan applications provide prebuilt, extensible solutions that accelerate planning by addressing specific business processes across functions like finance, sales, supply chain, and workforce.

These pages define the rules under which Anaplan applications can be used, any entitlements, what responsibilities each party has, and what protections are in place.

Applications sit within the broader Anaplan ecosystem as pre-built, domain-specific solutions. They provide both the template structure and core functionality that enable clients to accelerate deployment of their planning models.

These applications encapsulate best practices, standardized processes, and preconfigured logic that organizations can adapt to their unique business needs, reducing implementation time and risk.

Applications are separate from Anaplan platform entitlements and do not include core components of which some may be domain specific whereas others are domain-agnostic, such as workspace capacity or user licenses. Instead, these rely on ‌platform resources that customers already own.

Certain applications require specific capabilities to support their functionality and intended use. To ensure proper performance, Anaplan includes entitlements for these features within the application. It remains the customer’s responsibility to stay on the latest platform version to maintain compatibility and performance.
