This feature allows you to make multiple changes to your report without running grids or tables. This is useful for large or complex workbooks which run slowly.
You can enable Workbook design mode through the Anaplan XL > Options > Workbook Options window. Alternatively, you can open a workbook in design mode by holding the Ctrl key to access the Advanced Workbook Open Options.
With this enabled, you can design grids and tables, and edit member selections without needing to run the queries.
Grids and tables will only be run when explicitly told to, for example through the Refresh buttons. Changes to slicers or driving cells won't cause them to be updated.
