Deliver Anaplan forms or Anaplan XL Reports through Slack. Review how to setup the connections to Slack and how to configure the Workflow to distribute files.

To create a Slack connection for Report Book distribution:

  1. Navigate to the Configure module.
  2. Select Connection Strings.
  3. Select the Add button in the toolbar to add a new Data Source.
    The Create DataSource screen appears.
  4. Fill in the required parameters.

ProviderSelect the dropdown and select Slack2 for file distribution.

Enter valid connection string details:

  1. Select OK. The newly created connection appears in the list of Connection Strings. An asterisk beside the name indicates that the connection isn't saved yet.
  2. Select the Save icon in the toolbar to save the connection string.
  3. Save the connection string, then modify it if needed, while keeping the connection details hidden for security purposes.
