Filter items in a context selector to show only the information that users need for their planning activities.

You can filter items in a context selector on both boards and worksheets, but not on individual cards.

Line items cannot be filtered in a context selector.

Open the Filter panel and configure filters

  1. In designer mode, to the left of the context selector, select Context selector settings > Filter . 
  2. On the Filter panel, select the Show items that match dropdown, choose All or Any.
    This determines if items must match one, or all, of the filter rules to display in the context selector.

Add a filter rule

  1. Select Add rule .
  2. Select the Select a module dropdown, and choose a module to filter your context selector by.
    Only modules that contain the list a context selector is based on display.
  3. Select the Select item dropdown, and choose a line item to filter your context selector by.
  4. Select the Select filter condition dropdown, and choose a filter condition.
    The available options vary based on line item format, and include:

  1. In the field that displays beneath the Select filter condition dropdown, enter or select a value to filter by.
    How you enter or select a value depends on the format of the line item selected in step 3. Your options can include:
    • Number-formatted line items, where you enter a numerical value into the field
    • Boolean-formatted, where no action is required
    • Date-formatted, where you select a date from the date picker
    • Time period-formatted, where you select a time period from the dropdown
    • List-formatted, where you select a list from the dropdown
    • Text-formatted, where you enter text into the field
  2. Under the Context selectors heading, select the dropdowns for any context selectors in the source module and select values from the drop-down menu.
    This determines which values to filter for the line item you selected in step 3.
  3. Select Apply to apply your filters to the context selector.
    Repeat steps 1 through 6 to create additional filter rules.
    Click the trash can icon in the top-right of a filter rule to delete it. 
  4. Select Publish to save your filters.
