Restrict the visibility of comments in Anaplan XL Reporting

You can restrict comments' visibility to either a specific workbook or a group of workbooks.

By default, comments aren't specific to one workbook but to the relevant data cell or slice. For example, if a comment is made for France, November 2024 this comment would be visible on all grids, which:

• Displays data for 'France', 'November 2024'
• Have the display comments options set

You can restrict comments' visibility using the Limit Comments by Key setting in Anaplan XL > Options > Workbook Options and in the workbook group. Enabling this option creates a special key for the workbook. You can change this key to a common key if you want the same comments shared across many reports but not all reports, for example, Budget Q417.
