Learn about new Anaplan features and enhancements introduced in September 2024.

Workflow owners often manage end-to-end business processes that have steps that occur outside the Anaplan platform. You can assign ad-hoc offline tasks to track "outside of Anaplan" tasks that make up these processes. 

We've introduced several features to help you identify which task or approval is tied to which context item. You can search open tasks, and running and completed workflows for those related to a specific cost center, geography, product, headcount requests, or budget proposals.

You can set up workflow schedules to trigger on the last day of the month. 

You can now add comments to worksheet pages, to the main worksheet grid and any supporting cards found on a worksheet. They're tied to specific context intersections to keep all your conversations separate.

Page builders with the correct permissions can:

  • Drag and drop pages within an app from one category to another using the grabber to create a custom view of pages for users.
  • Change the order of categories in the left hand panel. The custom order displays when the page is refreshed, and is maintained until further changes are made in the app.

When a new page is created, duplicated, or moved from one category to another, the page is displayed at the top of the respective category.
