Setting the transaction count limit for XML Excel reporting can prevent performance problems. It also helps manage data more effectively when working with reports or forms in Microsoft Excel. This is helpful for businesses that handle a high volume of transactions.

Set a value for the global variable to define the maximum number of records to load when you open a matching report or form:

  1. Select Explorer in the navigation pane.
  2. Expand Fluence > Administration folders and open the Global Variables form.
  3. Select the last row within the grid, then Add Row from the toolbar menu.
  4. Type MatchingExcelRecordsMaxLimit for the variable name and type a value.
  5. Select Save Data from the toolbar menu.
    A confirmation message displays.
  6. Close the file.
