During installation, you may receive the message, Setup Failed Access is denied.
To troubleshoot the message:
- Ensure the user performing the installation has local administration rights.
- Check the installation log file for any failed attempts to download the prerequisites. For example, a message may appear in the log file, such as Error 0x80070005: Failed attempt to download URL ...
Download all prerequisites separately if a similar message appears in the log file. After installing all the prerequisites, run the MSI installer, which skips the prerequisite installation step.
