Matching Details - Transactions
The Transactions tab contains two tables, with each table representing transactions from a specific dataset. If Dataset1 is identical to Dataset2, a single table will be displayed, showcasing transactions from both sides of the match. Each table includes the dataset name, along with the Description, ID, Date, and Amount columns for each dataset. The ID is retrieved from the ID column associated with the dataset in the Datasets form. The Date, Amount, and Description are retrieved from the Date, Amount, and Description columns associated with the dataset in the Match Group Datasets form, respectively. The columns associated with these values can be configured for each dataset in the Datasets and Match Group Datasets forms
The fields in the Matching Details - Transactions form are as follows:
| Field | Description |
| Dataset | Dataset name |
| Description | This column displays the description of the transaction. It retrieves its value from the transaction table associated with the Description column in the Match Group Datasets form. For example, it's called the Type_Code_Lookup for the Megabank_Transactions_JG dataset. |
| ID | This column displays the unique ID of the transaction. It retrieves its value from the transaction table associated with the ID column in the Datasets form. |
| Date | This column displays the date of the transaction. It retrieves its value from the transaction table associated with the Date column in the Match Group Datasets form. |
| Amount | This column displays the total amount of the transaction. It retrieves its value from the transaction table that is associated with the Amount column in the Match Group Datasets form. |
Note: To unmatch all matches displayed in the report, select the Unmatch button located in the top-right corner of the form. Once selected, go to the Form menu and choose Refresh to reload and view the updated form.
Matching Details - Notes
Use the Notes tab to add or delete notes and attachments to a transaction.
Once a note or attachment is added, it can't be changed, and you must delete it to add a new one.
You can add multiple notes or attachments to a match. When you save the changes, a timestamp and the name of the user who made the changes is automatically added.
