You can preview the data within the source datasets. You can also change how the data displays in the preview to help you locate specific rows in the dataset.
Dataset preview functionalities
With the dataset preview functionality, you can:
Use a Boolean expression to filter the data that is displayed, based on values in the dataset.
Sort the data that is displayed, based on the values in several columns from the dataset.
Display up to 10,000 rows of data.
Display the total number of rows in the dataset and the number that meet the filter conditions.
Create a transformation view based on the filter definition.
Export filtered data to a CSV file.
Manage data in the preview
You can manage how the data displays in the dataset preview. The source dataset preview opens automatically when you select a dataset link from the Source data inventory screen.
Note: If you change how the data displays in the preview, you can't save the updated preview. The preview resets the next time you return to it.
To manage the data in the preview:
Select Data Orchestrator from the top-left navigation menu.
Choose a dataspace from the list.
Select Source data from the left-side panel.
Open a source dataset link from the list.
Use the toolbar options or the options listed under the Options ellipsis icon to manage the dataset.

Use the options that display in the toolbar to manage the data displayed in the dataset preview.

Filter
Apply filters to the columns in the dataset preview. Select this option and set the filter from the right-side panel.
If you apply a filter, you can export the filtered data, or create a new transformation view that includes only the filtered data.
Sort
Sort the columns in ascending or descending order. Select this option and set the column sort order from the right-side panel.
Delete selected rows
Delete rows in the dataset preview. Select the rows you want to delete and select this option. Then type DELETE in the field and select Delete to confirm.
You can restore the deleted rows. If you restore the deleted rows, they are loaded into a new source dataset.
Copy to clipboard
Copy the all dataset items in the preview to your clipboard.
Ellipsis options
To manage the dataset, use the Options ellipsis icon located at the top right of the preview screen. Additional options display when you select the Options ellipsis icon . The options that display are:

Create transformation view
Use this option to create another transformation view with this dataset.
Rename
Use this option to rename the dataset.
Sync data
Use this option to sync the data if you change the dataset.
Delete Dataset
Use this option to delete the dataset. You can't undo this action.
Export
Use this option to export the dataset as a CSV file.
