1. Extensions
  2. Google Sheets Add-on
  3. Change your settings

Use Settings to choose whether Anaplan line item formatting and grid styling is applied to your worksheet when you create or refresh a connection. You can also change your environment.

Anaplan line item formatting is always enabled for read-write connections. If you deselect Apply Anaplan line item formatting, this only affects read-only connections.

If you make changes to settings in the Google Sheets Add-on they apply to the entire spreadsheet, rather than individual worksheets.

To change your settings in the Google Sheets Add-on:

  1. Select Settings at the bottom of the Anaplan sidebar.
  2. Select the settings to apply to your Anaplan data when you create a new connection or refresh a connection:
    • Select the Apply Anaplan line item formatting checkbox to ensure cell formatting from Anaplan is applied. Conditional formatting is not supported.
    • Select the Apply Anaplan grid styling checkbox to ensure that Anaplan styles are applied to your data, such as cell borders, cell colors, font colors, etc.
  3. Optionally, select Change environment to change your environment.
If you change environment, you need to sign in again.
  4. Select Apply.
    The Anaplan sidebar reopens.
Your formatting and styling settings apply the next time you refresh your data or create a new connection.

We may update our documentation occasionally, but will only do so in a way that does not negatively affect the features and functionality of the Anaplan service.
