Make sure you meet any prerequisites before you upgrade or install the Excel Add-in.

The add-in checks for prerequisites during installation and prompts you to install them.

Our add-ins are tested to be compatible with enterprise channel releases of Microsoft Office. Beta and preview versions aren't supported. The latest compatible channel releases with the Excel Add-in are:

  • Enterprise Channel: Excel 2308
  • Current Channel: Excel 2309

Microsoft Office version compatibility 

The add-in is compatible with:

  • Microsoft 365 (Online and Desktop)
  • Microsoft Office 2016
  • Microsoft Office 2013

Windows version compatibility

The add-in is compatible with:

  • Windows 11
  • Windows 10
    Self-Service Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) configuration is available for version 1803 onwards.
  • Windows 8.1
  • Windows 8

Note: The add-in is supported by Windows only. For Mac users, use a Virtual Machine (VM) that has Microsoft Windows installed. 

If we stop supporting a Windows or Office version, we'll let you know at least 30 days in advance via the Anaplan Community release notes.

Once you meet the prerequisites, you can either download and install or upgrade the add-in.
