Download and install the latest version of the Excel Add-in to benefit from the latest functionality.

Before you install the add-in, ensure that you meet all prerequisites.

Note that you cannot use multiple versions of add-in on the same machine.

You can download the latest add-in installers from the Downloads page.

Download the EXE file if the add-in is for your use only. Download the MSI file if you're an IT administrator or an advanced user. You can use the MSI file with command prompt to configure the add-in for company-wide use.

If you have downloaded multiple versions of the add-in and want to check which version is which before you install, right-click on the downloaded file then select Properties. In the pop-up dialog box, navigate to the Details tab. 

To install the add-in:

  1. Double-click the installer file or run it via command prompt.
  2. Select the ellipsis () to select a directory to install the add-in to.
  3. Select Next.
    The End-User License Agreement displays.
  4. Read the end-user license agreement, then select Agree to License.
  5. Select Install, then select Finish.

The next time you open a workbook in Excel, you can access the add-in through the Anaplan tab at the top of the screen.

If you cannot see the Anaplan tab, enable the Add-in.
