Azure server connections are specified in this format: asazure://region.asazure.windows.net/myinstancename.
When you connect, Anaplan XL Reporting can authenticate with Azure SSAS in several ways.
By default, it'll attempt to use the current user's credentials. If you are using AzureAD, you can log in automatically. Otherwise, you may have to log in (for example, if MFA is turned on).
You can also check the Requires logon option to specify a user name and password if that's been configured.
You can force web logon by selecting Requires login and choosing Web/MFA. This is useful if you want to connect as a different user than the one logged in to the PC.
Logging out
Anaplan XL stores a server's login information and reuses it to save repeated log-on requests. You can clear this by pressing Refresh Connections.
Although this clears the Anaplan XL stored information, the browser may also have stored Azure login information. This means that when the page opens to enable login, it automatically signs you in, and you don't have the chance to enter credentials. In this case, you can log out of your Azure account using a web browser to ensure you are prompted when connecting.
