Review the history of all data imports that have been run. The log displays information including the time at which each import was run, the user that ran the import, the data import definition that was used, and the status of the import.
For example, whether it completed successfully or failed due to validation errors. The log also allows users to view details about any validation errors that may have occurred during an import.
Additionally, it allows you to drill back to source details and view the data that was imported into the models if the option to track this information is enabled within File Import or Data Transfer tasks corresponding to these imports.
During the data import process, information is often transferred from a CSV or Excel file to a staging table. It is then linked to members in Anaplan Financial Consolidation before being incorporated into the data model.
When looking at the details of imports, you can see how data was mapped as it was moved from the staging table to the data model. From this report, you can deduce which source accounts make up the value of a target account within Anaplan.
Update workflow tasks to enable data tracking
Edit a File Import or Data Transfer task in a workflow. Enable Track Data Import to make sure the data brought into the model is tracked. It ensures that the data can be viewed in the View Source Details pane.
