Insert value

You can insert XL3Lookup and XL3LookupRW formulas directly into the spreadsheet using the Anaplan XL > Insert Formula > Value ribbon or menu option.

To insert a value lookup:

1. Select the Anaplan XL > Insert Formula > Value ‌ribbon or menu option.
2. Choose a location for the new formula.
3. Choose the connection to use from the dropdown.
4. Use the grid to select the hierarchies and member selections to retrieve the value for.
5. Select OK to insert the formula.

To insert the writeable XL3LookupRW formula instead of XL3Lookup, select the Insert XL3LookupRW checkbox
