It enables you to track information throughout the life of your investments. An entity enters information for the initial investment in a subsidiary, and can record additional details such as incremental investments, partial disposals, or purchase price allocation (PPA) adjustments.

Once data is loaded into the Investment Registry, the Direct Ownership percentages are automatically calculated for the specific Entity and subsidiary.

Your Administrator is required to set the Use Investment Registry global variable to TRUE to ensure that you can enter ownership in the Investment Registry form.

Warning: If you already have Direct Percentage input in your system, turning on the Investment Registry will overwrite the manually entered Direct Percentage amounts with the amounts calculated by the Investment Registry Details.

These pre-requisites need to be set to use the investment registry:

It's the Movement that stores the result of the Excess Value calculation.

It's a new Movement outside the All Movements structure. SysName should be set to Statistical.

Movement#FMV

It's the movement that stores Fair Market Value data.

It's a new movement outside the All Movements structure. SysName should be set to Statistical.

Movement#InvestmentDetail

The data from the investment registry is moved to ‌the Investment Elimination and NCI Consolidation rules.

It's a new Movement outside the All Movements structure. SysName should be set to Statistical.

To access:

  1. Select the Explorer module.
  2. Expand the Fluence > Consolidation > Maintenance > Ownership > Investment Registry.
  3. Right-click the Investment Registry form and select Open. Alternatively, double-click the form to open it

Note: Your administrator may have moved the form to another location, or it may be started as part of a process.
