The Anaplan Operational Workforce Planning (OWP) application enables organizations to plan workforce requirements in alignment with financial budgets.

The application supports position-based planning to anticipate and respond to workforce needs driven by business cycles and operational changes.

License quantities are based on your planned population, which may include:

  • Full-time and part-time employees
  • Contractors and temporary employees
  • Gig workers and seasonal employees
  • Interns and other worker types

The Application does not modify or increase workspace capacity.

An active subscription to HR Participants or Workforce Planning is required to deploy and use the OWP application.

Any entitlements afforded under the Anaplan Subscription Agreement are for exclusive deployment and use of the subject application.

The following entitlements are included:

Polaris is an entitled service and requires a separate subscription. If you do not have an active Polaris entitlement, it is provided as part of the Anaplan Subscription Agreement.

Anaplan Workforce Analyst is an entitled service and requires a separate subscription. If you do not have an active Workforce Analyst entitlement, it is provided as part of the Anaplan Subscription Agreement.

Workforce Analyst is available to all Operational Workforce Planning (OWP) application customers, from the original OWP application in the November 2024 release to version 1.3 that is due for release at the end of September 2025. Customers may opt-in to the feature.

Customers must contact their Customer Success Business Partner (CSBP) to opt-in to this feature.

Workflow Standard is an entitled service and requires a separate subscription. If you do not have an active Workflow Standard entitlement, it is provided as part of the Anaplan Subscription Agreement.
