You can publish relational queries for reuse by all users. 

To publish a relational query: 

  1. Select the Publish Query toolbar button at the top of the designer:
  2. Enter the address of the Anaplan XL Reporting Web Edition site and select the Connect button.
  3. Select a folder for the query. Give it a name and, optionally, a clearer description.
  4. Select OK to publish the query.

Alternatively:

  • Select the Anaplan XL > Web > Publish to Web > Publish SQL Query...ribbon item.
  • Or the Anaplan XL > Publish SQL Query... menu item. 
  • Select the item to publish.

The query is available to both SQL Administrators and Standard SQL Users, for data tables and Slicers. Standard users can't edit the query, but can edit the parameters defined when published.

To insert a new data table based on the query:

  1. Select the Anaplan XL > Favourites > Published SQL Queries... button from the Anaplan XL ribbon.
  2. Enter the address of the Anaplan XL Reporting Web Edition site and select the Connect button.
  3. Select the desired query.
  4. Select OK to insert the table.
