SQL in Anaplan XL Reporting

Relational reporting in Anaplan XL is handled through tables and slicers.

There are two levels of SQL reporting user in Anaplan XL, with differing levels of design access. This gives non-technical users a controlled level of SQL reporting. It gives them access to SQL data without letting them design their own queries.

• Administrators: can create new connections and design new SQL queries from scratch using the Query designer. Administrator users can also publish pre-built queries to Anaplan XL Web Edition, for use by standard users.
• Standard users: have no SQL designer access, but can use pre-published SQL queries from the SQL report library on Anaplan XL Web.
