Define the reporting currency or currencies. Anaplan Financial Consolidation supports an unlimited number of reporting currencies.

These parameters make up the currency maintenance template.

ParameterDescription
Base Currency

Specify the currency used as a reference to translate all other rates. When foreign exchange rates are entered, they're always on the base rate.

There can only be one base currency, which is set to TRUE. All other currency members are set to FALSE.

Rate Operator

Specify the rate operator, which is either multiply or divide based on how foreign exchange rates are stored in the system.

For example, if the USD to CAD rate is 1.26, then the selected operator would be Multiply. However, if the rate entered is 0.74, then the selected operator would be Divide.

Reporting

To set a currency as a reporting currency, the Reporting field must be set to TRUE

If a currency isn't a reporting currency, it must be set to FALSE

When a currency is a reporting currency, it means that all local currencies are translated to that reporting currency.

TriangulateSet this parameter to True if it's a reporting currency and you want to calculate the rates against the base currency.
