Tenant administrators can assign or unassign administration roles to users in their tenant.

Only encryption administrators can assign the Encryption Administrator role. For more information, see Get Started with BYOK.

Note: Workspace administrators can assign the workspace administrator role within models.

To assign or unassign administration roles:

  1. Select Administration from the top-left navigation menu.
  2. Select Access Control > Assignments from the left-side panel.
  3. Select the user to whom you want to assign or remove a role.
    To filter the list by First Name, Last Name, Role, or Email, use the dropdown or the Find search field at the top-right corner of the page.
  4. Select the Roles checkboxes next to the roles you want to assign, or clear the checkboxes next to the roles you want to unassign.
  5. Select Save.

Note: You're unable to assign administration roles to disabled users.
